1. Scope and organization
This Privacy Policy applies to DockDash websites, web applications, driver mobile applications, support services, and related services provided by Maryam LLC (“Maryam,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). DockDash is a software platform owned and operated by Maryam LLC, a Delaware limited liability company.
When an employer, carrier, customer, or other organization provides your DockDash account, that organization may control the business data processed through the service. Its policies and instructions may also apply to your use.
2. Information we process
Account and contact information
We may process names, business contact information, organization affiliation, account identifiers, roles, permissions, authentication information, and communications with us.
Transportation and operational information
DockDash may process shipment, load, route, stop, facility, equipment, driver, status, billing, document, and customer or partner information supplied by authorized users and connected systems.
Driver mobile application information
The mobile application may process assigned load and stop information, driver-entered status events, acknowledgements, issue reports, uploaded photos or documents, notification tokens, device platform and identifier information, and diagnostic information. If you enable device authentication, biometric verification is performed by the device operating system; DockDash does not receive or store your fingerprint, face scan, or biometric template.
Location and navigation
The current DockDash mobile application does not request, collect, or track your device's precise location, approximate location, or background location. When you choose to view directions, DockDash may send shipment-provided origin and destination addresses to an external navigation application, such as Apple Maps. The navigation provider may process information under its own privacy policy. If DockDash introduces device-location features in the future, we will provide notice, request any permission required by the operating system, and update this policy and applicable app-store disclosures before using them.
Integration and technical information
We may process X12 EDI transactions, API and secure file-transfer records, IP addresses, security and audit events, browser or device characteristics, timestamps, and application logs.
Website and support information
We process information submitted through demonstration, contact, and support requests, together with basic website and message-delivery records.
3. How we use information
- Provide, administer, secure, and support DockDash.
- Authenticate users and apply account permissions.
- Process transportation workflows and customer-requested integrations.
- Maintain reliability, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and investigate security events.
- Respond to support, demonstration, and business inquiries.
- Comply with contractual and legal obligations and protect legal rights.
- Improve the service using operational and diagnostic information.
Maryam LLC does not use customer freight or operational data for third-party advertising.
5. Retention and security
We retain information for the period needed to provide the service, fulfill customer instructions, meet contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security and audit records. Retention periods vary by information type and customer configuration. Retention decisions take into account the nature of the information, the duration of the customer relationship, applicable legal and contractual requirements, and legitimate security and recordkeeping needs.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Access, correction, account deactivation, and deletion
How accounts are created
The current DockDash driver mobile application does not offer in-app account creation. Driver accounts and mobile access are provisioned by an authorized administrator of the employer, carrier, or other customer organization that uses DockDash.
How to request deactivation or deletion
To deactivate your access or request deletion, contact your organization's DockDash administrator or email support@dockdash.ai. Include your name, company, and the username or business email associated with the account, but do not send your password. We may need to verify your identity and authority and coordinate the request with the organization that controls the account.
Following verification of an applicable deletion request, Maryam LLC will delete or de-identify account credentials and personal profile information as required by applicable law, subject to lawful retention exceptions and the instructions of the customer organization responsible for the relevant business records.
Deactivating an account prevents further access but does not necessarily delete associated transportation, delivery, billing, safety, document, security, or audit records. Where information must be retained, it will remain subject to appropriate security and access controls.
Other privacy choices
For access or correction requests involving an organization-provided account, contact that organization first. You may also contact us using the information below. We will respond as required by applicable law and consistent with our obligations to the organization controlling the account.
Mobile operating systems allow you to manage camera, photo-library, notification, and biometric-access settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the related DockDash feature from working.
7. Children
DockDash is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the service.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or applicable requirements change. We will post the updated version at this URL and revise the “Last updated” date.
